Pakistan Whitewashes Bangladesh in T20 Series, Haris Smashes First Career Century

Lahore – Pakistan completed a clean sweep over Bangladesh in the three-match T20 series, thanks to a blistering maiden century from wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Haris in the third and final match at Gaddafi Stadium.
Chasing a daunting target of 197 runs, Pakistan sealed victory in just 18 overs. Haris played a sensational unbeaten knock of 107 runs off just 46 balls, hitting 7 sixes and 8 fours. This was his first-ever T20 international century and one of the fastest by a Pakistani batter.
Opening partner Saim Ayub supported the chase with a quickfire 45 off 29 balls, while middle-order batter Hasan Nawaz added 26 valuable runs.
For Bangladesh, Mehidy Hasan Miraz claimed 2 wickets and Tanzim Hasan picked up 1.
Earlier, Bangladesh posted their highest-ever T20I total against Pakistan, scoring 196 for 6 after electing to bat first. Openers Parvez Hossain Emon and Tanzid Hasan provided a solid 110-run opening stand. Emon smashed 66 runs, while Tanzid contributed 42. Towhid Hridoy added 25, and Liton Das scored 22.
From Pakistan’s bowling unit, Abbas Afridi and Hasan Ali took two wickets each, while Shadab Khan and Faheem Ashraf chipped in with one apiece.
Mohammad Haris was named Player of the Match for his explosive century and also received the Player of the Series award for his consistent performances throughout the series.
With this victory, Pakistan not only wrapped up the series 3-0 but also demonstrated their dominance in the shortest format with a complete team performance.
